All these winter pranks feel like cheap shots, but still look fun to pull. This one just involves packing your victim’s freezer with snow. Not an elaborate prank, but loads of fun. Do it while the snow lasts: A snow wall is a really good idea and there have to be a lot more prank uses for this. Blocking a guy from his drive-way after a bad day at work is a really good on though. via RoomiePranks.com There’s some simple, but elegant social engineering going on in this prank. These guys found an icy spot in the sidewalk and positioned themselves so passers-by would have to walk through it. The net result is a video of slip-sliding strangers. Pretty funny. Just don’t pull this one in a neighborhood with an elderly population. Not the most creative idea, but there’s lots of fun in this clip. It may require living on a busy street, but just grab some snow and start throwing on the unaware passers-by. It might be a dick move or it my be a way to pelt and pummel the inner child dying to play in the snow. After a hiatus from the PrankLabs blog, I wanted to come back with some seasonally appropriate pranks. While the sunny states will feel left out, those of you experiencing a real winter right now should find some decent ideas. The thing about failed pranks is that they can sometimes be underwhelming, especially when something better was maybe gonna happen. To mitigate any prank disillusionment, you get two fails today. First up is how not to approach a can of shaving cream: Second up is one of those prank experiments where you just have to flip a coin and hope for the best turnout. Luckily, these guys had a default Plan B: Following up on yesterday’s post from the Cubicle Warfare book, I wanted to share my favorite from their featured pranks. This one involves using a mousetrap to fling glitter from behind a monitor. The setup is rather ingenious and the glitter ammunition makes it gold. Glitter is far worse than even sand when it comes to things you can’t get rid of no matter how hard you try. Anyway, the illustrations from the book are really well done. I need to pick up a copy. This video features a really good prank from the book Cubicle Warfare by John Austin. You basically create a false bottom in a coffee cup that spills out BBs when the target picks it up. The book it’s from also looks worth checking out. The three pranks ideas on the book’s homepage are all new to me and they look well thought out. |
